RealTunnelTM server parks established in Asia, US and Europe
Server parks are now established in Asia, US and Europe to increase the quality of our global service. With RealTunnelTM 0.9.8 all RealTunnel users are directed to their nearest server park which decreases delay and improves the quality of all voice and video calls.
RealTunnelTM supports calls setup between RealTunnelTM server parks. This improvement allows a user in Asia setup calls to friends, family etc. in Europe and US with optimized voice and video quality. The RealTunnelTM server parks also support calls to users that haven't installed RealTunnelTM, when these not are behind strict firewalls and NAT devices.

For the first time, "all" SIP clients can now be used behind any firewall and NAT
device
The public service so far has supported Windows Messenger andMSN Messenger used in combination with the .NET Passport service. Today full blown SIP Registrar service is
launched. This means that all SIP clients behind NAT and firewall devices now can establish voice and video calls. RealTunnel users can connect to their existing service provider (e.g. Iptel.org, Free World Dialup), or sign up for a free SIP ID from therealsip.com domain provided by Paradial. The SIP service will be denoted RealSipTM. For further instructions on how to test the SIP capabilities (RealSipTM)of RealTunnelTM, see http://www.realtunnel.com/index.jsp?page=Sip. The following SIP clients can be synchronized automatically with the RealTunnelTM clients: Windows Messenger, X-Lite, X-Lite FWD and eConf.
