Paradial’s award winning RealTunnel NAT traversal solution helps providers of unified Communications (UC), VoIP, SIP-trunks and videoconferencing overcome the challenges created by firewalls, NATs and web proxies. Such devices unintentionally interfere with audio and video traffic which results in disappointed users and high deployment and operations cost. Addressing NAT Traversal is a key challenge when deploying IP-services.
RealTunnel works with existing security and network infrastructures and does not require changes to existing systems that jeopardize security.
RealTunnel, which consist of client and server components, is based on industry standards – SIP and H.323, and ICE, STUN, TURN and H.460. RealTunnel is interoperable with standards-based SIP and H.323 solutions from different vendors. SIP and H.323 proxy interfaces simplifies integration and makes it easy to add NAT traversal capabilities to an application. RealTunnel clients and servers can be deployed together or separately with other standards-based solutions. The RealTunnel server also offers NAT traversal capabilities to clients with limited NAT traversal capabilities.
In addition to ITU and IETF standards, RealTunnel implements HTTPS tunneling mechanisms to enable secure communications even across the most strict corporate firewall configurations.
RealTunnel is optimized for efficient transport of real-time audio and video and utilizes numerous techniques to preserve QoS even when utilizing TCP, HTTPS and relaying.
RealTunnel servers are built on an architecture that scales linearly from small to the highest-volume deployments, supports centrally or geographically distributed servers, and achieves the required redundancy and availability using off-the-shelf hardware.
The RealTunnel client is available as standalone applications or as SDKs and is supported on the most popular operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, Linux and Windows Mobile.
